A $31.75 million settlement has been reached in a class action lawsuit, Snow v. Align Technology, Inc., concerning SmileDirectClub aligners. The lawsuit alleged that Align Technology, maker of Invisalign, engaged in anticompetitive conduct that led to consumers overpaying for SmileDirectClub aligner products. Individuals who purchased these aligners may be eligible for a cash payment.
You may be eligible for a payment if you are an individual in the United States who purchased, paid for, or provided reimbursement for some or all of the purchase price of SmileDirectClub aligners for personal use between October 22, 2017, and August 18, 2022.
Consumers who are identified in SmileDirectClub's records as having made qualifying purchases will automatically receive a payment. Those not in the records must submit a valid claim form by the deadline to receive compensation.
Receive a cash payment estimated between $40 and $60.
Some class members will receive an automatic payment and do not need to file a claim.
Visit the settlement website to file a claim if you were not automatically notified.
