Matt is an experienced consumer-focused company operator and investor. Prior to ClaimsHero, Matt was the Head of Growth at Martingale, a startup Insurtech. There, he helped consumers access affordable insurance products and managed customer support and operations. Prior to Martingale, Matt was an Associate at NXT Capital, a middle-market investment firm, and a Consultant at EY.
Matt received his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Science from Miami University in Finance (cum laude). He also is a CFA Charterholder (inactive).

Kelvin Goode, Chief Legal Officer


Kelvin is a seasoned attorney and media executive with an impressive track record spanning over a decade. His journey began as a vital member of the founding team and label executive at G-Unit Records, the renowned record label of Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson. It was during this pivotal time that Kelvin gained firsthand insight into the glaring disparities in legal representation that artists and creators faced when navigating complex deals. This eye-opening experience ignited Kelvin’s passion to establish ClaimsHero, a platform dedicated to leveling the playing field in the legal world.
After law school, Kelvin joined Weil Gotshal & Manges as a litigation associate, defending Fortune 500 companies against class action and antitrust claims. His dedication to justice led him to join a plaintiff-side class action firm, advocating for those who needed it most. Kelvin earned his Bachelor degree in business management from Pennsylvania College of Technology and his JD from Northwestern Law School.

Garrett Marcotte, CTO


Garrett is an engineering leader with over a decade of experience building software teams and products that solve real-world problems. Prior to ClaimsHero, Garrett was an Engineering Manager at Facebook and Discord where he led teams that focused on making those platforms safe and secure for millions of users around the globe. His passion is leveraging technology to help people navigate the everyday challenges and confusing systems that stand in the way of improving their lives.
Garrett received his Bachelor of Science and Engineering, cum laude, in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Princeton University.
